These tapes are made and supplied in many various widths and strengths. They are made of cotton, polyester, glass fibres and Nomex.
Woven glass tapes are highly resistant against high temperature and are inflammable. We produce Fibre glass tapes on needle looms machines. Cotton insulating tapes are calendered (that means their thickness is decreased to an equable strength). Glass Tapes are not treated at all, as exception they are sometimes got rid of lubrication - a mixture of various stuffs, which are the fibres impregnated with, so that it was easier to process them. These tapes are used mainly in electrical industry, mainly for electromotors and electric cables insulation.
